Job Summary
Coordinate nursing services across Maplewood at Chardon, Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls, and Maplewood at Twinsburg by assisting the Resident Services Director with medication administration, direct resident care, health promotion, and wellness counseling. Conduct assessments under RN supervision, oversee Certified Nursing Assistants, train associates, and audit care quality while completing monthly in-service training. Support residents and families with teaching and counseling needs. Requires flexibility for day and night shifts, a current state license, and two years of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State
- Two years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience
- Experience and/or special interest working with older adults
- Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting up to 50lbs
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers and other staff members
- In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
- Must have flexibility to work both day and night shifts
- Must be able to travel between Maplewood at Chardon, Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls, and Maplewood at Twinsburg
