Job Summary
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups; collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests; perform data entry of patient information; process billing information and collect payments when required; prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis; maintain patient and specimen information logs; provide superior customer service to patients; complete administrative and clerical duties; travel to additional sites when needed; suitable for a Float Phlebotomist role with opportunities for growth within Labcorp.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program (preferred)
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
- Be at least 21 years old
