Job Summary
Administer infusions and injections with precision while conducting patient assessments, documenting SOAP notes, and monitoring treatment responses. Educate patients and families on disease management and side effects, then collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and referring providers to optimize care coordination. Maintain accurate EHR records, manage inventory, and handle prior authorizations to ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards. Work across multiple facilities in the Raleigh market on 12-hour shifts with a monthly Saturday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Active and Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Active and Unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AANP or ANCC board certification
- BLS certification
- Ability to treat a diverse patient population including both adults and pediatrics
- Strong IV and Infusion Therapy skills
- Proficiency in Clinical Documentation
- Experience with EHR systems
- Understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- 12 hour shifts
- One Saturday per month rotation
- Flexibility to work at multiple facilities within the designated market
Desired Qualifications
- Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
- PALS certification
- Experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols
