Float HSS I (Medical Assistant) (Mountain View)

Float Health Services Specialist I provides direct care in sexual and reproductive health services, including pregnancy tests and STI/HIV testing, across PPMM health centers. Responsibilities include front office activities (check-in/check-out, scheduling, billing and insurance information, and processing payments), back-office lab and direct care tasks (phlebotomy/venipuncture, lab preparation, specimen handling, room preparation, and assisting with exams), data entry into the Electronic Practice Management System, ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining billing accuracy and daily close processes, collecting donations per guidelines, and upholding workplace values and service standards. The role requires travel to multiple San Jose-area sites as needed and the ability to work evenings or weekends and at multiple PPMM locations in California.
