Job Summary
Lead nursing services across assigned skilled nursing facilities by delegating tasks, analyzing quality metrics, and ensuring policy compliance. Manage staffing patterns based on acuity and census, negotiate payer service plans, and oversee hiring, evaluation, and termination of department associates. Direct clinical staff development, foster quality assurance performance improvement, and conduct regulatory investigations and surveys. Serve as a liaison with regional leadership, payers, vendors, and healthcare providers while aligning care plans with Benedictine standards. Accept temporary assignments to varying Benedictine communities, requiring extended travel and evening/weekend hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in States served or assigned
- BLS certified
- Five (5) years of RN experience as a clinical leader or Director of Nursing in skilled nursing facility or housing/assisted living or in combination with similar background in Home Care, Hospice, and/or community-based services
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for extended travel
- Must be available for additional hours of work on evenings
- Must be available for additional hours of work outside of normal schedule
- Must be temporarily assigned to any Benedictine community in the states that Benedictine serves
- Must accept assigned community, clinical leadership role or duties associated with assigned role
