Job Summary
Direct Support Professional providing support and supervision to individuals with developmental, mental health, or physical disabilities. Responsibilities include establishing community relationships, assisting with daily routines (household tasks, cooking, self-care, socializing, leisure, health and safety, money management, behavior management), administering medications, providing transportation, and documenting services through an online system. Must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, access to an insured vehicle, pass a DHS background study, and have basic computer skills. Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnights; travel to various community settings; reports to House Supervisor; non-exempt; Synova Group benefits include PTO, holidays, health/dental/life/disability insurance, paid training, and equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- high school diploma preferred
- one year of experience delivering services to individuals with disabilities
- valid driver’s license
- access to an insured vehicle
- clean driving record
