Job Summary
Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach, follow-up, and in-person or virtual engagement to assess banking needs and process transactions. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications while educating clients on deposit, loan, and self-service digital products. Maintain a working knowledge of retail banking products and services to recommend solutions based on each customer's unique goals, leveraging available technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy. Requires 36 hours of scheduled work at a U.S. Bank location in Chino, CA, including 2+ hours of weekly driving. NMLS registration under the S.A.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
- Ability to comply with applicable local laws, including the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act as well as the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
- Ability to comply with the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA)
- Ability to comply with FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, the NFA, the FCPA, the Bank Secrecy Act, the SAFE Act, and/or federal guidelines applicable to an agreement
- Ability to comply with ethics, safety, or operational procedures
- Ability to comply with federal guidelines applicable to an agreement

- Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
