Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, meals) and provide care in a compassionate manner. Perform medication setup and administration after training, update resident records, report health/behavior changes to supervision, maintain a clean and safe environment (housekeeping, laundry, dining areas), help with meals and activities, and participate in staff trainings. Requires professional demeanor, confidentiality, teamwork, and willingness to adapt to changing resident needs. Education: high school diploma or GED; Experience: 1-3 months in elder care; Certifications: CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers cards (training provided). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training with working with seniors
- Valid CPR, First Aid and Food Handlers cards (can be acquired during the hiring process)
- Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required
