Job Summary
Conduct engineering support for Mission Systems test and evaluation activities, including flight and lab test planning, coordination, execution, analysis, and reporting. Assess system development and integration impacts on test objectives, prepare flight cards, and attend flight briefs and debriefs. Support data reduction and analysis while identifying and documenting deficiencies to enhance test plans and reports. Focus on radar, communication, navigation, and integrated mission systems. Entry-level, journeyman, and senior positions available.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE degree
- Working knowledge of both the theory and methods of aircraft testing
- Broad scientific technical knowledge of the theory and methods of weapon system acquisition and support requirements
- Solid understanding of principles and practices of systems engineering
- General knowledge of electronics
- General knowledge of human/machine interface
- General knowledge of mechanical engineering
- In depth knowledge of T&E engineering principles and processes
Desired Qualifications
- Specific relevant experience in lieu of meeting the degree requirement
- Strong writing and oral presentation skills
