Job Summary
Conduct flight test activities including planning, execution as pilot and chase pilot, debriefs, and post-flight analysis. Perform simulator testing, development, and Failure Modes and Effects Testing while preparing test cards and directing control room operations. Contribute to flight readiness and safety reviews, and coordinate with the FAA to complete certification and compliance documents for Type Certification. Complete all required documentation in accordance with established company and FAA procedures. Review design feedback and perform miscellaneous engineering duties as tasked.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Flight Test Pilot DER-T
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work extended hours and travel as required
- Read and speak English proficiently
Desired Qualifications
- Both fixed-wing and rotary-wing flight test experience
- FAA certification flight test experience
- Experience with all-electric aircraft
