Job Summary

Conduct pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility. Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight and maintain daily narcotic counts. Perform pre-mission and post-mission briefings, assist with liftoff checklists, and conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed. Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences while documenting licensure, certifications, and continuing education. Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as deemed appropriate by the Regional Director. Two 24-hour shifts per week. Starting range $93,100–$150,500 annually plus $10,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance for those outside Klamath Falls. Requires three years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting and current EMT-P license.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting
  • Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • NRP certification
  • Trauma certification
  • Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) certification within 24 months from date of hire

Desired Qualifications

  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
  • NREMT-P certification
  • The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of Klamath Falls, OR, or be willing to relocate
