Flight Paramedic

Conduct pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility. Complete electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight and submit them within the specified time frame. Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts, attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings, and assist with pre-mission liftoff checklists and pilot assistance activities. Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences while documenting licensure, certifications, and continuing education in the Employee Education Manual. Comply with safety standards to ensure the safety of self, medical personnel, patients, and equipment prior to liftoff. Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as deemed appropriate by the Regional Director.
