Flight Paramedic

Conduct pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished, completing electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight. Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts, attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings, and assist with aircraft safety briefings and liftoff checklists. Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences while documenting licensure, certifications, and continuing education in the Employee Education Manual. Comply with safety standards to ensure the safety of self, medical personnel, patients, and equipment. Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as needed. Requires three years of experience in a 911 or critical care setting, an EMT-P license, and FP-C certification within 24 months. Part-time schedule includes one 24-hour shift per week with crew housing provided.
