Flight Paramedic

Conduct pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient transfer, maintaining thorough documentation for each dispatched flight. Complete electronic patient care records, daily base checks including narcotic counts, and pre-mission liftoff checklists with pilot assistance. Perform aircraft safety briefings, assist in navigational and visual observation activities, and fill open shifts within the assigned area. Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences while documenting licensure and continuing education in the Employee Education Manual. Comply with safety standards to ensure the safety of self, medical personnel, patients, and equipment.
