Job Summary
Part-Time Flight Paramedic opportunity in Texico, NM. Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support during air transport, complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight, perform base checks including narcotic counts, participate in pre-mission briefings and liftoff checklists, maintain licensure/certifications and continuing education documentation, ensure equipment readiness, and fill open/vacant shifts within the assigned area as directed. Requires EMT-P license, FP-C within 24 months, and relevant certifications; typically 3+ years in 911/critical care settings. Schedule includes one 24-hour shift per week; company-paid crew housing is provided on shift.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status
- Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), required within 24 months from date of hire
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred
- NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area
