Job Summary
Conduct pre-mission briefings, liftoff checklists, and aircraft safety briefings while providing advanced life support care from initial contact to facility handoff. Submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight and maintain daily narcotic counts and equipment documentation. Participate in ongoing clinical experiences and maintain licensure, certifications, and continuing education records in the Employee Education Manual. Assist with pilot operations including radio, navigational, and visual observation activities as needed. Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area and complete mission debriefing documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Trauma certification
- Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) certification within 24 months from date of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
