Job Summary
Complete electronic patient care records for dispatched flights and scene calls, maintaining thorough documentation from initial contact to facility handoff. Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts, conduct pre-mission briefings, and assist with liftoff checklists and pilot support. Provide advanced life support care while ensuring aircraft safety and complying with all safety standards. Submit required licensure and continuing education updates to the Employee Education Manual and participate in ongoing clinical experiences. Fill open shifts as assigned by the Regional Director. Two 24-hour shifts per week with company-paid housing available for out-of-area candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Trauma certification
- Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) certification within 24 months from date of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
- NREMT-P certification
- Live within 50 miles of Klamath Falls, OR
- Willingness to relocate
