Flight Paramedic

Conduct pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility. Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame. Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts, attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings, and assist with liftoff checklists and pilot assistance. Maintain competency through ongoing clinical experiences and document licensure, certifications, and continuing education in the Employee Education Manual. Comply with safety standards for self, medical personnel, patients, and equipment. Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as deemed appropriate by the Regional Director. Maintain positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the public.
