Job Summary
Complete electronic patient care records for dispatched flights and scene calls while providing pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support. Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts, attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings, and assist with liftoff checklists and pilot observation activities. Maintain documentation of licensure, certifications, and competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences. Comply with safety standards for self, medical personnel, patients, and equipment. Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Trauma certification
- Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) certification within 24 months from date of hire
- NREMT-P certification in assigned area
Desired Qualifications
- Prior flight experience
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
