Job Summary

Conduct pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished, maintaining thorough documentation for each dispatched flight. Complete and submit electronic patient care records within specified timeframes, perform daily base checks including narcotic counts, and attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings. Assist with aircraft safety briefings, liftoff checklists, and pilot assistance for radio, navigational, and visual observation activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences and document licensure, certifications, and continuing education in the Employee Education Manual. Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as determined by the Regional Director.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting
  • Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • NRP certification
  • Trauma certification
  • Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) certification within 24 months from date of hire
  • NREMT-P certification in assigned area

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior flight experience
  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
