Flight Paramedic

Conduct pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished, completing electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame. Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts, attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings, and assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists with pilot assistance for radio, navigational, and visual observation activities. Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences while documenting licensure, certifications, and continuing education in the Employee Education Manual. Comply with safety standards to ensure the safety of self, medical personnel, patients, and equipment prior to liftoff, and fill open or vacant shifts as deemed appropriate by the Regional Director.
