Job Summary
Complete electronic patient care records for dispatched flights and scene calls while providing pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support. Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts, attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings, and conduct aircraft safety briefings. Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences, document licensure and certifications in the Employee Education Manual, and assist with liftoff checklists and pilot observation activities. Fill open shifts within the assigned area as needed by the Regional Director. Requires current EMT-P license, FP-C certification within 24 months, and BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. Starting pay is $21.34 hourly plus a $5 hourly area stipend.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Trauma certification
- Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) certification within 24 months from date of hire
- NREMT-P certification in assigned area
Desired Qualifications
- Prior flight experience
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
