Job Summary
Launch and recover delivery drones by preparing Zips, executing launch and recovery procedures, and adhering to standard operating procedures. Conduct pre- and post-flight safety checks, monitor in-flight operations via Fleetdeck, and escalate off-nominals through ticketing and shift notifications. Collaborate with warehouse, controller, and customer care teams to ensure payload readiness, flight clearance, and alignment on real-time priorities. Identify operational inefficiencies, participate in retrospectives, and support incident response procedures for retrieval and root cause analysis. Work nights and weekends on a two-year fixed-term contract, maintaining focus during extended shifts in a fast-paced field environment.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Aerospace Engineering/Drone Engineering Technology or National Service Personnel or Vocational Training personnel with technical background/ or willingness to learn despite background
- Excitement about working in the field and are not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Ability to stay focused, humble, and safety-conscious during assigned shifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and enjoy work that keeps you on your feet
- Ability to maintain focus during extended daily operations
- Must be willing and able to work nights/weekends on shifts
- Must be willing and able to work for a period not less than 40 hours/week
- Must be willing to relocate to any of our distribution centers
