Job Summary
Support the design, integration, and operation of advanced satellite systems for LEO and MEO missions. Develop automated satellite operations workflows and enhance operational data systems using Python or other scripting languages. Contribute to space and ground segment design, specification, and system integration while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Participate in system testing, validation, and operational readiness activities to ensure mission success. This role involves working with satellite databases, telemetry structures, and flight software integration. Full-time position with on-site preference in Montreal; hybrid/remote candidates must be willing to work on-site at least one week per month. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to obtain or hold Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.

- Candidates working remotely or in a hybrid capacity must be willing to travel and work on-site in Montreal for at least one week per month.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience supporting LEO and/or MEO satellite operations (SatOps).
- Experience with automated satellite operations and IoT technologies.
- Strong understanding of Space and ground segment design, specification, and integration.
- Strong understanding of Flight software and its role in satellite operations.
- Strong understanding of Satellite database operations.
- Strong understanding of Telemetry structures and operational concepts.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting end-to-end satellite mission operations.
- Knowledge of satellite command and control systems.
- Experience working in commercial or government space programs.
- Familiarity with systems engineering best practices for space missions.
