Job Summary
Flight Operations Support Specialist II at Pivotal. Responsible for preventative maintenance on test equipment and data acquisition systems; use mechanical hand tools and torque wrenches to set up parts on test fixtures; support development tests setup and site organization; track daily activities and ensure on-time delivery; assemble, preflight, and perform routine inspections to verify safety and performance of aircraft and equipment; perform routine maintenance tasks (tire checks, fluid refills, battery inspections); coordinate with flight test managers/engineers for parts replacements; document and report issues to MRO; suggest process improvements; travel to flight sites and assist with setup, operation, and teardown of equipment; potential flexible 10-12 hour days for 4 days/week.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must possess a valid state issued driver's license
- Ability to tow trailers and drive standard box trucks up to 24 ft
- Ability to travel to flight sites around the Bay Area
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Moderate lifting, Ability to lift 50 lbs to chest height
- Computer experience for input and retrieval of data
