Job Summary
Flight Nurse at PHI Health based in Deer Valley, AZ, providing safe, comprehensive care to critically ill or injured patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility transport settings. Responsibilities include performing specialized assessments and therapies, documenting treatment and billing information, maintaining communication with management and external partners, participating in training and continuing education, and adhering to clinical protocols under Medical Director guidance. Requires active RN license, mandatory certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS and ITLS-type), and adherence to weight and physical requirements; flight/transport experience is preferred and rotation through PHI Air Medical Group education/orientation is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license to practice in the state employed
- Minimum of three years (five years preferred) of current critical care/emergency experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS
- CFRN within twenty-four months of hire
- Flight or transport experience preferred
