Job Summary
Assess situations to determine the best course of action for supporting, monitoring, and treating patients in critical care. Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients while supporting physician orders. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment by performing regular equipment checks and complying with safety standards. Collaborate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, and partners to ensure seamless patient transport. Share shift change information and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation. Maintain required certifications and ongoing training, including advanced certifications within 24 months. Work collaboratively within a team of air transportation experts committed to high safety standards for crew and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area
- EMT Certification in state(s) where required
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Trauma Certification where required
- Prior flight experience
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
- Advanced Certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN)
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) within 24 months from date of hire
