Flight Follower/Airline Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Coordinate and control air transportation for the fleet of Beechcraft Barons and Learjets by creating trips, managing logs, and maintaining operational control protocols under FAA regulations. Assess crew legality, monitor flight progress and weather conditions, and initiate contact with aircraft or ATC for deviations. Disseminate flight releases, ensure ground handling services are ordered, and obtain international overfly permits and TSA requirements. Report mechanical delays, handle hazardous material accounting, and communicate shipment delays or issues to pilots and personnel. Provide pricing quotes and complete invoicing paperwork for customer billing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years related experience
- Must have knowledge of Part 135 Regulations
- Ability to read aviation weather reports, forecasts and DOT Regulations
- Valid Driver's License
- Able to obtain Airport Issued ID
- Intermediate MS Office knowledge, computer software & internet proficiency
- Must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible
- Ability to multi-task, respect and maintain confidentiality
- Candidate must be service oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with other employees, customers, and pilots
- Ability to lift and move 55lbs to 75lbs
