Job Summary
Flight Engineer with C-130 experience and an A&P license to join Lynden Air Cargo’s global operations. Responsibilities include pre-flight inspections, fueling, ensuring safe aircraft performance, liaison with Operations and Maintenance regarding aircraft operation and maintenance, adherence to the GMM for flight engineer duties, and assisting with loading/unloading. Requires ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations; strong arithmetic and reasoning skills; willingness to travel domestically and internationally; and the ability to pass background checks and drug testing. Must hold Airframe and PowerPlant license, Flight Engineer certificate with turboprop rating (or current turboprop), Class II Medical Certificate, current driver license, and a valid US passport.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
- A&P license
- Airframe and PowerPlant License (Required for L382)
- Flight Engineer Certificate Turbopropeller Rating or Current Flight Engineer Turbopropeller
- Class II Medical Certificate
- Current Driver License
- Current US Passport
- Able to pass post-hire fingerprint-based criminal history records check
- Random drug testing required
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to travel to domestic and international locations without restrictions, including entrance onto foreign military bases
