Job Summary
Receive trip requests from clients and schedule aircraft and crew while arranging all necessary services for domestic and international destinations. Provide creative solutions to meet travel needs, ensuring adherence to regulations and policies, and deliver detailed flight itineraries. Effectively communicate schedule information to clients, staff, and flight crew, and arrange logistics including crew travel, passenger services, permits, and customs clearances. Coordinate aircraft movement with the Pilot in Command to comply with airspace and duty time restrictions, monitor flight and duty time limitations, and provide flight following. Maintain a current database of client and crew contact information and preferences.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills
- Ability to work with the Solairus flight planning and scheduling software
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member with other Flight Coordinators
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all cases regarding client information and travel schedule
- Knowledge of aircraft dispatch principles and aircraft trip planning principles including knowledge of FAA regulations, airport information, resources available for trip planning, aircraft and trip support, and weather monitoring
- Ability to quickly learn and assimilate Solairus flight operations standards and policy
- Well organized and meticulous
- Ability to plan and to prioritize work with limited supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Four-year college degree preferred
