Job Summary
Oversee daily operational activities including food packing, transportation logistics, production, and dispatch processes while supervising Flight Coordinators, Food Packers, and VIP Charter Teams. Ensure accurate updates of customer specifications, maintain operational efficiency, and conduct regular physical counts to confirm meal quantities and quality. Train, motivate, and schedule team members to uphold high standards, ensuring hygiene and food safety protocols are strictly followed. Identify process improvements and maintain professional communication across departments to guarantee timely delivery of products to aircraft crews. Report food safety system issues to the manager and hygiene team as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory role within the airline catering or related industry
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Excellent skills in planning, coordinating, and managing daily operations
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- A hands-on approach with the ability to lead and motivate the team effectively
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for scheduling, reporting, and communication tasks
- Ability to work up to 50% of the day in a refrigerated or cooler environment
- Ability to work long hours on foot
- Capability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Hospitality Management, or Logistics) preffered
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required
