Job Summary
Provide 2-3 office hours weekly for peer advising on financial wellness and basic needs for first-generation and limited-income students, escalating higher concerns to staff and following up with appointees until resolution. Shift focus to outreach, resource development, and operational support during low-volume weeks, including updating materials, supporting pantry operations, and creating content for the FLI Resource Hub. Lead one community opportunity per semester and participate in campus events like Access Babson and enrollment needs sessions. Submit detailed appointment notes weekly and collect feedback for programmatic improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment as a Babson College student
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher at the start of employment
- Fluency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skill
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility and willingness to assume new tasks and special projects
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn Babson College and Office marketing guidelines and online design tools
- Ability to demonstrate sensitivity and maintain confidentiality of students entering and engaging with the FLI Network staff and programming

- Enthusiasm and willingness to engage with peers, faculty, and staff during event facilitation, acting as a representative to the FLI community and Babson College
