Job Summary
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for assuring quality representation for assigned shifts by preparing quality shift reports and performing quality inspection audits. Candidates must possess knowledge of quality system practices and skills to perform daily quality routines. Responsibilities include documenting work, ensuring compliance with quality systems, tracking documents, and performing additional duties as assigned. A successful candidate will have an understanding of ISO 9001 and API standards, two to four years of hands-on inspection experience, and the ability to effectively communicate and report findings to management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Quality systems training
- ANST Level II certification in at least one discipline
- 2 - 4 years hands-on inspection experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to write routine reports
- Ability to present information to management
- Knowledge of quality systems
Desired Qualifications
- ISO 9001 understanding
- API knowledge
- Quality systems training
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must complete all required training
