Job Summary

Assure quality representation for assigned shifts by performing quality inspection audits, identifying anomalies, and routing NCRs, ARs, and SDRs. Prepare shift reports, document work to verify proper procedures, and research records for processing while ensuring inspections comply with quality systems. Conduct training for inspection personnel and lead in analyzing ongoing processes to recognize and prevent potential problems. Work in an industrial environment involving heavy machinery, confined spaces, and extreme weather conditions, requiring physical stamina for up to 12-hour shifts.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Quality systems training
  • ANST Level II certification in at least one discipline
  • 2 - 4 years hands-on inspection experience
  • Documented safety training
  • General leadership ability
  • English as primary language
  • Knowledge of quality systems including an understanding of ISO 9001 and API
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management or other groups
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to prepare, interpret and present reports to direct or indirect management
  • Ability to write, edit and implement quality process procedures
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • General recognized understanding of aspects of the assigned Quality department duties
  • Ability to recognize potential problems, quickly report such concerns, and work directly with the HSEQ Team Lead and Global HSEQ group in the problem-solving process
  • Attention to detail
