Job Summary
Supervise technicians and manage resources for FlexSteel installation projects, ensuring schedules meet client needs while maintaining safety and quality standards. Direct daily operations by providing supervision, training, and evaluating staff to comply with the installation program. Resolve field work issues and customer complaints as a first responder, coordinating with dispatchers for manpower projections and working with engineering teams on equipment development. Validate time entries, review deficiencies weekly, and approve expenses in accordance with company policy. Ride-alongs with field technicians to coach development and identify potential contractor partners.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Associates Degree
- at least five years experience in a pipeline construction (or related industry) with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong supervisory, organizational, decision making, and planning skills
- Extensive knowledge of pipeline construction, spoolable product installation, and the associated equipment, maintenance, and operational considerations
- Must be self-driven and able to work independently
- Must demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize work assignments
- Must be cognisant of deadlines (internal/external) and tenacious in preserving them
- Must have excellent communication
- Strong health and safety emphasis with focus on keeping all appropriate certifications current
- Computer skills (Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)

- Travel to remote locations
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly

- Operate heavy equipment and power tools
- Perform repetitive movements
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions

- Work around moving mechanical parts
- Work in hot and cold temperatures
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Participate in regular safety training
- Complete required safety certifications
- Comply with all environmental regulations
