Job Summary
Oversee daily ink room operations, ensuring ink is supplied safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining inventory accuracy and a clean environment. Serve as the primary onsite contact for the customer, leading a team of ink technicians through coaching, training, and performance management. Conduct process audits, develop standard operating procedures, and track key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement. Support color matching, ink blending, and technical troubleshooting as needed. Promote a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with company and customer policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during customer meetings. This full-time role includes a $95,000 annual salary, Monday–Friday schedule, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Flexographic (Flexo) ink production or ink management experience
- 5+ years of color matching and ink blending experience
- Bilingual, English/Spanish (Required)
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Desired Qualifications
- College or technical training
- Forklift Certification
- HazMat Certification
- Experience developing SOPs and training programs
- KPI development and process improvement experience
