Job Summary
Operate various types of printing machines to produce printed objects and materials, staging Flexo Presses with materials and tooling for efficient workflow. Review client requests to determine job scope and quantities, then align and configure machinery while running press jobs. Inspect random production samples for quality, troubleshoot machine issues, and perform routine maintenance. Draft daily production reports and maintain a clean area around equipment. Requires Mark Andy Printing equipment experience, ability to lift 40 pounds, and physical stamina for bending, twisting, and kneeling. On the second shift at Abbott Label's Texas plant.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Mark Andy Printing equipment
- Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate various printing machines
- Ability to follow instructions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent Mechanical Skills
- Punctual and Reliable
- Physically able to operate printing machines
- Able to bend, twist, and kneel
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Narrow Web Printing Industry
- Vocational/technical school training
- Previous related experience
