Job Summary
Manage and optimize security solutions across diverse environments to protect customer assets, focusing on Web Application Firewalls, certificates, CDN, and proxies. Detect, analyze, and respond to security events using a pragmatic approach while staying informed on emerging threats like APTs and ransomware. Provide expert assessments of security configurations and advise clients on risk mitigation strategies and best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within customer environments and participate in call rotations to ensure seamless operational security. Present insights and simplify complex technical topics to help clients secure their digital assets.
Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Web Application Firewalls (Akamai or Cloudflare), certificates management, CDN, proxies, and security rules
- Experience in analyzing security logs and managing security events
- Ability to assess and recommend improvements for Firewall/WAF configurations on Akamai or Cloudflare
- Skilled in configuring security tools, from basic setups to complex, advanced configurations
- Broad knowledge of cybersecurity topics such as APTs, secure coding, ransomware, and current hacking trends
- Proven ability to advise on risk mitigation strategies
- Willingness to participate in call rotations and client support
- Fast learner with a customer-centric mindset
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
- Passionate about cybersecurity and leveraging new technologies
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of presenting and defending technical points to clients
- Results-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service
- Ability to simplify complex technical topics into clear, understandable recommendations for any audience
