Job Summary
Technical service representative for flexible PU materials, responsible for flexible PU development, product launches, and technical support for BASF customers in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Central America/Caribbean. Engage in customer-facing interactions, develop training webinars and industry engagement, lead technical development projects, support sustainability efforts for polyurethane flexible foam, and identify opportunities with new business development teams while ensuring project timelines, safety, and regulatory compliance. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related field and 8+ years of technical/customer-facing experience; polyurethane/urethane expertise preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or other applied sciences.
- Have relevant experience in technical, customer-facing, business development or other similar roles, typically gained over 8+ years.
- Polyurethane or urethane expertise will be a plus and considered in evaluating overall qualifications.
