Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, provide supervision, guidance, and support for 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting, and report on household operations. The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and may transition to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. The position includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits, and requires a two-spouse, married-couple application process.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
