Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes, supervising 8–13 students, providing mentorship, overseeing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and supporting both homes with a nine-on/three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent. Requires commitment from a legally married two-person team, both spouses age 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to campus rules (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty). Relocation assistance and paid training provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, PTO. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Committment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet limitations (fish and one dog of approved breeds)
- Proselytizing prohibited
