Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person on-campus live-in role) reside in an on-campus student home and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent where they live and work with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse role for couples married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
Additional Requirements
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver's license and driving-certification ability
