Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, including supervision, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role starts with a nine-on/three-off cycle, then transitions to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and is a two-person, married-couple position with relocation assistance and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Willing to commute to/reside on campus in Hershey, PA (on-campus)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Comfort leading devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Two-person role for couples
