Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed to serve as on-campus Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. The role involves living in a student home and providing care, guidance, supervision, and development support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
