Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus to care for and mentor a group of 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a Flex Houseparent to a Placed Houseparent with the same students. Requires married couple, both spouses completing individual applications; minimum age 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; salary $44,768 per person (~$168,000 total for the couple) with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
