Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role on Milton Hershey School campus. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and supervise 8–13 students, providing mentorship, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. They oversee budgeting and household reporting. Initially, the schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) plus comprehensive coverage and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
Additional Requirements
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Two spouses must complete individual employment applications
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
