Job Summary
Two-person married couple will live on campus as Full-time Flex Houseparents, providing supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation, activity planning, devotions, chapel attendance, budgeting, and transition to placed houseparent. Schedule initially consists of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; upon hire, couples support various student homes and may eventually live with the same group of students in their own home. On-campus housing and benefits included. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and compliance with campus policies; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be at least 27 years old. Relocation assistance provided and paid training available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
