Job Summary
Two-person married couple houseparents live on campus in on-site student homes, providing supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel visits, budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role in the same student home, and relocation/training benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples
