Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus to care for and supervise groups of 8–13 students in on-site homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring student wellness, driving students to activities and planning/developing developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and supporting multiple student homes on a rotating nine-on/three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role with a fixed home. The position is a two-person role for legally married couples, with both spouses required to complete individual employment applications. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
