Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and guidance for approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule transitioning to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students in their own home; benefits include salary per person ($44,768) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience working with youth (volunteer or paid)
- Two-person role for couples
